My family and I consume an average of about 20 of these a week just hanging around the house. I have actually had to break up a fight between two of my children because they wach blamedeach other for eating the "last one that Dad had saved for his midnight snack." we have been purchasing these packets of heaven on Earth at a large chain store( that I will not name specifically ) and it was starting to get to be an expensive habit...so I figured i would come to this website with the intent of buying in BULK at a lower rate. Makes sense right...WRONG. Much to my dismay, the chain store has the price is about 50 cents a pack cheaper. Really surprised me that the source is so much more expensive than the distributor, so I guess its back to Wal-Mart...even though I HATE Wal-Mart. Folks, wherever you buy it, its awesome stuff...put a piece in your mouth, take a slight sip of water and you will be hooked. Got to admit, I AM VERY disappointed that this is not available in bulk off this web-site at a more reasonable price.

This was the first MH Food I tried. I was blown away by the actual taste of the ice cream bar. It does melt in your mouth, and the flavors are so close to the real ice cream! However, I must wonder, I am a major choco-holic. Any chance of Mountain House making an all chocolate ice cream bar???

Just picked this up at a local retailer as a test sample. WOW! the taste is just like fresh ice cream melting on your tongue. I only gave 4 stars because of not being use to a warm ice cream but I am planning to purchase another package along with many other Mt.House products and will maybe stick the ice cream in the fridge for a couple hours then trying it cold. But otherwise this was a great tasting and filling snack. We also plan to purchase a few to keep in the auto for a diabetic family member whom oftens needs something quick and easy to pull their sugar level up and since this is real ice cream with all the regular nutrients it should do the trick easily. I'd recommend this product to anyone in fact sent the website's URL to a friend in Austrailia so they could carry on outbacking expeditions.

This literally melts in your mouth. The flavors of the ice cream are great, too.
