Husband and I love this one. We were amazed by the variety of vegetables in there, and the fact that they rehydrated up perfectly - never thought I'd be eating something with hot water chestnuts out in the middle of the ice while ice fishing!
The flavor is a traditional Americanized Asian - nothing wrong there, no weird fishy aftertaste, and thankfully, NO added MSG. My husband develops debilitating migraines from consuming even small amounts of monosodium glutamate, and I'm happy to see that this is a 'safe' food. This is also becoming a favorite food of ours as well. Not at all too salty, actually, pleasantly tasty and disappears very fast!
We like the Pro Paks for adventures where we'll be traveling alone, and these guys are just the right size to tuck into the top of the Jetboil container while packing. We'll also tote a few extras with us when taking a buddy fishing - and even my husband's best friend (who's a pretty big guy) fills up fast - surprisingly satisfying and filling and tastes good.
